Pumpkin Patch

Image
This was a fun day at the pumpkin patch. We rode on a hay ride, fed goats, visited other animals, and so much more! Piper happily slept in my wrap the whole time. How lucky we are to get to go on adventures like this.

Van Adventures

Image
Everything is a new adventure with 3 little ones running around and getting in the van is no different. The boys get the back bench. Max can climb in on his own and Coop can too it just takes him a long time and if you try to help him you better hold your ears! Both boys are so independent and want to it on their own. We can convince Max to get in quickly by asking him to show Cooper how to do it...but there is no hurrying Coop Man. Piper gets her own seat in front of Cooper so our little men can keep their eye on her. Max likes to give us updates on his little sister. Jeff jokingly says we still have one more seat empty, but I think our van is quite full.

Precious Piper

Image
Our precious Piper will be two weeks old tomorrow! So much has changed and yet she has slipped right into our family so perfectly. I will have to write more to tell you what has been going on in our home, but for now enjoy these photos I took of her this morning. I love the simplicity of her holding the pink carnation. So beautifully organic.

Jack

Tonight we carved our first Jack-O-Lantern with the kids. Once again, I showed Max a YouTube video on how to carve a pumpkin before we started the project. He knew what to do and Cooper followed his big bro. One of the videos the guy pretended to eat the raw pumpkin and we talked about how that was yucky....so Max was very careful to say that eating the "guts" would be yucky. It was so fun! Cooper really was not sure if he should put his hand into the big orange ball, but he gave it a try. I love it! I can't get over how awesome the picture of the two boys with the finished Jack turned out! They never smile at the same time.

Fire Balloons

Image
Friday night we went to the hot air balloon festival with my parents. To get the boys excited about the evening events, I showed the boys YouTube videos of hot air balloons before Jeff got home from work. When Jeff got home Max was so excited and told him that he wanted to go see the fire balloons! It is so awesome what these boys pick up and really understand. We had a great time. There were crafters, a kids craft area, fair type food, and of course hot air balloons. The boys got to try kettle corn for the first time which to say they loved was an understatement. We had to buy quite a few bags to get us through the night. The highlight of the event was the balloon glow. They had about 15 balloons lighting up in beat to music. It was so much fun. The kids were so excited. They cheered, clapped, and squealed the whole time. Cooper was asleep before we left the parking lot which doesn't say too much because we were stuck in the same parking spot for about an hour because
