New Driveway Progress

Image
Today we had about 8 guys at our house with lots of safety yellow painted vehicles. They were tearing up our driveway and preparing our new one. It is going to look so great when it is finished. We both thought that Max would love watching the Bob Cat, but is was actually a bit scared of it. He would watch it from inside IF he was sitting in someone's lap. He is just so sweet.

Pacify Me

Cooper has made a marvelous new discovery. He just found both of his hands! He hasn't staired at them yet, but he must think they taiste good because he sucks on them more than a pacifier. When he is not sucking he will sit and look for you. If you leave the room you better hold your ears because he will call you back rather loudly. He is getting so big! He is out of newborn and into 0-3 month clothes...right on track!

Weeks Updates...soo soo much!

It is just amazing how little time I have to do common things like sleep and blog with a toddler and a 2 month old, so I will try to recap our week now. Jeff and I have been signing to Max since he was about 9 months old and last week he actually started to sign back to us! He will now sign to us when he wants something to eat, when he is finished, and more. He is trying a lot of other signs and it is so exciting to see him trying to communicate with us. This picture shows him watching his "Baby Signing Time" DVD and trying out the sign for washing hands. It is so wonderful that he can look at me and sign "food" instead of crying because he is hungry! Super Cooper's adorable smiles are becoming much bigger and more common. His little personality is starting to shine through! Wednesday the boys and I went to visit my Aunt Gregory and Uncle Lawrence along with my Grandma, Joanna, and her fiance Matt. It was such a sweet trip. Uncle Lawrence was so nervous t

Our Little Cooper Stephen is changing every day. He is much more alert. He actually stays awake part of the day now. He is starting to smile at us now and then and we have heard a "coo" here and there. Cooper definitely knows when you are in the room. He constantly follows you with his eyes. He is also holding his head up a lot better now. I'm sure he is very proud of himself. It is so amazing how much he is changing so fast. Each night when Jeff get's home from work, he lays on the floor and he and Max roll around, grunt, and laugh at each other. Max's favorite thing to do it to sit on his daddy's face while they watch evening TV. They are too very funny boys!
