Like a Horse

Image
Max likes his food...that's an understatement. Like most babies, he is a messy eater, but he is also a noisy eater. He talks and hums and sings as he eats...he really gets into it. I thought I should start to keep track of all the foods he loves just in case he spends the night with you! (wink wink) mandarin oranges sliced tomatoes black olives black beans and rice (with sour cream) chicken meatballs hot dogs cheese yogurt whole apples grapes strawberries crackers of all kinds cookies apple juice breads of all kinds Cinnabons chocolate hot chocolate lactose free milk whole carrots bananas quesadillas sandwich meat raspberry sorbet orange juice baby food green veggies mashed potatoes chicken soup potato soup broccoli cheese soup dog food...just kidding...but just checking to see if you were still reading this I think you get the idea...he eats like a horse!

Daddy's Boy

Max and I spend about 9 hours a day together-just the two of us. We have fun. We play with cars, trains, and balls "oh my"-we eat and get really messy-we even try to take walks outside and look at the birdies when it is warm enough...BUT everything changes at about 4pm. Max knows that daddy will be coming home soon and he thinks that every moment between 4:00 and whenever he comes home from work is an eternity (and he will not be happy until daddy is around). In Max's Head "Life is really fun with daddy! He throws me up in the air and catches me. He laughs with me when I get...or put peas all over my face, cloths, chair, floor, dogs, or whatever. Bath time is really cool because we talk and laugh and scream our heads off and mom is not around to tell us to clean up the water I splashed on the floor. After bath daddy helps me get my p.j.s on and then he plays with me. We have so much fun crawling and oh yes laughing a lot. I really like when dad reads to me b

Yesterday I discovered where Max's cars and balls were hiding...today I uncovered the mystery of the missing socks. Max has learned to hide his favorite and not so favorite things. I have known for awhile that Max loves to put things in a bowl, box, can, dad's shoes, whatever; but I did not know the extent of his new passion. The same as our beloved Gilligan and Mary Anne will hide a bone, Max hides his treasures! He hides his cars and balls under the computer table behind the set of drawers...he loves his cars and balls. I found his missing socks in a small pile between his crib and the wall...he hates his socks. What a funny little man! I wonder what else he is hiding in our house...cars...shoes.

Cooper's First Photo

Here is Cooper Stephen's first photo. Max is very excited that he will have a little brother. As Jan (Nana) said, they are going to get into so much trouble together...hehe. Thank you for all your prayers for little Cooper and our family. God is really blessing us, everyday I pinch myself. I just can't believe what He has given us. "Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him." Psalm 127:3-5

First Ever

Welcome to our family blog. This is an exciting day because this is the first ever blog on the Bostrom Family blog! Today is also very special because Max took 4 steps on his own! Jeff was practicing with him last night and he took a couple then also. It won't be long and he will be running laps! He will be 13 months this week and we can hardly believe how cool a dude he is. In this last month he has become very cuddly. He wants to sit in our laps and read, talk, or play all the time. What will he think when he has to share mommy and daddy's lap with little bro Cooper?
