First Day of Preschool!

Image
Both Max and Cooper had their first day of preschool yesterday and I think they were just as excited as I was. They only go two days a week, but it will be so good for them. Cooper was so excited about getting to take his new backpack. He kept saying backpack over and over. I'm sorry most of the pictures are not in focus. They just move so fast! Memories of this exciting day... I lov e their matching outfits! and matching backpacks... and matching lunchboxes So cute that their bears are hanging out of their backpacks. Cooper wanted to brush his hair and belly before getting out of the car, Max had to fix his new shoes before getting out. They both walked into the building so independently...I'm so proud! Cooper did cry a little when I dropped him off, but quickly began playing with one of his teachers. Max walked into his classroom, put his backpack in his cubby, and began playing. He barely even looked up to say bye. I really am so thankful that he wanted to be there! W

"My big boy!"

"My big boy! My ride BIG bicycle." That was Max's words this past Saturday. Our neighbor gave Max his "little" bicycle last summer and we had to explain to a 2nd grader that Max was just not big enough for it-but we would save it for him. Well I guess that time has come. Jeff was working hard at cleaning/organizing our shed when both boys woke up from their nap. Max saw the BIG bicycle and insisted on riding it. I could not believe that he actually was able to ride it! I love the fact that little-big boy Cooper is following his brother carrying the water can. He loves his big bro!

I had a great time photographing this less than 10 day old baby boy. I thought I would share them with you. Isn't it time for some new family portraits in your home? Check me out at expressionsfoto.com

OREO

Image
I have such talented boys. This is what our little guys did to an OREO today at lunch. I was just going to photograph Coop Man, but Max Man insisted that he was very dirty too. Daddy is giving them a bath as we speak...yes and it is only 12:15 in the afternoon.

Heat, Water, Popsicles, and Bugs

Yesterday it was actually cool enough (and I use that word loosely) to let the kids play outside. Max rode his bike while Cooper pushed the train and pulled a hockey stick around. After that got old, we played in our Caterpillar sprinkler to cool off. When the boys got tired of that Max informed me that it was Popsicle time and we had to eat it under the tree in the front yard. They were so so cute sitting side by side under the tree I had to grad the camera what I did not expect was for the lens to instantly fog up because of the high humidity. It did make for a cute picture that looks like I edited it to look so "story-like". Yes the boys were still dirty from playing while they enjoyed their cool snack, but I think that's what makes them boys. When Jeff got home from work, he found a HUGE grasshopper and put it in a jar for the kids. Max and Cooper have loved looking at it. Cooper is even trying to say the long word "grasshopper". He sure is surprisi

Summer Pictures

I took a bunch of pictures yesterday so when I uploaded the p ictures from the camera to the computer I noticed that I haven't emptied the pictures in over a month...oops. I normally would not add the old pictures to the blog, but there are some really cute ones that I hope you enjoy. One Saturday that Jeff had to work the boys and I met CC and Grandad at a hobby store and we let the boys play trains. What a better way to spend a Saturday morning ! Another weekend we met CC, Grandad, and our friend Mrs. Corie, Casen and Baby Layla. Max and Casen are great bud. Notice there brightly colored lips. They were enjoying a Ring Pop...Max's first. Cooper is so cute around babies right now. He loved going up to Layla and tickling her while saying "Tickle, tickle, tickle" in a really high pitch voice. After we enjoyed our hamburgers w e cooled off at the splash pad. I love that place...maybe even more than the kids do. The boys made bird feeders out of milk car
