J-E-L-L-O

Yesterday I gave both boys jello at the same time. It was Max's 2nd time with the wiggly stuff and Cooper's very first taste. I thought I would list the lessons I learned from this experience. Strip the boys down to their diapers before even saying the word jello. Even the word can stain cloths. Give them jello outside only or use a drop cloth. When it time to finish the snack, make sure you can distract Cooper before taking his fun away. Make sure you have a camera ready. Don't get upset...just laugh A LOT!

Christmas Already!

Yes Christmas is already here at the Bostrom Cabana! Last week Jeff and I put up our new-yes fake- Christmas tree while the boys slept. The next morning I caught Max's first reactions and they were definitely of awe. We have decided to not put up our traditional ornaments because of our wonderfully curious boys, but have helped the boys make some ornaments. So far we have made dough and paper ornaments and more are to come and it gets closer to the BIG day!

Creative Babes

The boys (all 3 of them) and I have been doing lots of creative projects. We have been stretching our imaginations for a couple of months now and come up with some georgeous creations! We have painted, drawn, glued seeds, made crayons, and more. Max has really gotten into it and Cooper is starting to get interested in these messy activites.

I can't believe that October is already over! T ime flies when you are around a toddler and b aby . We had so many adventures that we have to sh are with you all. I will try to make it brief because I know the pictures are a l o t more fun than what I write. Max and his daddy have continued to go to the Little Gym and Cooper and I have had so many smiles and laughs as w e watch the kids in the gym. We went to the best farm in Murfreesboro with Nana and Gramps! It had a petting zoo, hay ride, huge slide down the side of a mountain, a sand box full of corn, pumpkin patch, and so much more. Max loved the baby chicks and the tractor that pulled the wagon and Cooper could not help but smile in the box of corn and loved sleeping in Nana's arms on the wagon ride. The Mayfield Cow came to our Wal-Mart...an d we definitley know that cows say "Oooo"! Max tried his first Reese Cup. Big Mess! Cooper is experiementing with the idea of crawling...but no movement yet. He

No Time for Flash Cards

For all those that have little kids or are still a kid, I found a great website for all kinds of fun crafts. I am always looking for fun stuff to do with the boys that will be fun and teach them some new skill...especially when it is cold and rainy. This website has all kinds of crafts and books that go along with it. She even gives a short synopsis of each book so you will know the one you want to find at a book store or library. We have already tried some of these and can't wait to try more. No Time For Flash Cards
