Snow....Burminham...WHAT???

Image
We ran into a friend at a gas station last Thursday night. We told him that we were going to Burminham to visit my sister and brother in-law for the weekend. He told us to be careful because it was supose to snow down there. Later on I asked Jeff if our friend realized that Burmingham is in ALABAMA. It doesn't snow down there and if it does it would only be a touch. We were wrong! We left Kingston right before the boys nap this past Friday. We were not on the road 20 min when it started to snow and it snowed the whole way down there! It was so beautiful....but I kept so confusing because Knoxville didn't get snow, but AL did. We had a great trip just enjoying being with each other. I'm just so proud of them. Joanna and Matt have a beautiful apartment and seem to be enjoying life in B-ham. One highlight was when we went to the mall to walk around and Max begged to go on the carousel. He said "ride" about 3 times a second while we were trying to get him to

Atlanta Aquarium

Two Friday's ago Jeff and I were trying to come up with some weekend plans. It was suppose to rain all weekend...big surprise...and we didn't want to sit at home. Jeff came up with a spontaneous trip to the Atlanta aquarium! He got us a hotel and I found dog sitters. I packed during the kids naps and when Jeff got home we left for a fun weekend. We were just there the beginning of December, so it was fun to see what Max remembered and Cooper noticed this time around. We don't get to be spontaneous very often, but it sure if fun when we do. (Yes they are in matching Cho Cho shirts...if you can't tell them apart...Cooper isn't wearing shoes...hehe

Helicopter Ride

I love these pictures. I love even more that the boys can enjoy these rides without me putting money in them!

Shoes

Max loves his shoes! He also loves to try on new ones...I guess they make him run faster. Tuesday I took the boys to the mall for lunch and playtime at the playground. For lunch we ate rice and orange chicken. Cooper is so funny with rice. He loves it, but I'm really not sure how much gets into his mouth. That was entertaining in itself. Anyway, I took the boys to the bathroom for a double changing session and while in there Max slam dunked his shoe into the toilet! Needless to say, Max got new shoes.
