Aquarium Trip

Image
Yesterday we took a family trip to the Aquarium in Pigeon Forge. We all had such a fun time. It was such a dark and rainy day that we were thankful to be inside with all the fish. We knew Max would love it, but what surprised us was that Cooper actually followed the fish with his eyes. He loved the calm soothing atmosphere there not to mention all the beautifully colored fish. It was wonderful and we will have to do it again soon! We are hoping to get to Atlanta in December. Jeff has so training down there and the boys and I want to get a weeks pass to the Atlanta Aquarium. If we get to do that, we will be swimming with the fishies all week long!

Max the Arteest

Image
Since taking his bunk beds apart to make two twin beds, Max has a large blank wall in his room. Anyone who knows me knows that I can't have a blank wall in my house...every wall has to have some kind of art work (preferably homade). Well I think the pictures explain how we fixed it and WOW they really look good! This was the first time that Max really got into painting. I was so excited and so was Cooper who spent the time jumping he was so excited!

Max Updates

Cooper is not the only one who has been changing a lot. Max Man has grown up so much lately. He is now in his very own big boy bed and going to school twice a week! Wow, where did my little baby go? We made the bed transition a couple of weeks ago-definitely not planned. Both boys and I were in Max's room playing while I sorted Max's cloths. Max let me know that he wanted to get in his crib so when I did he pretended to be asleep. (He really likes to play asleep...he even snores!) So I would not have to keep getting him in and out of his crib, I took off the side bars so he could play by himself. He loved it! For the next few days we let him sleep without the side rails. He did great for naps, but did fall out in the middle of the night so we put the rails back on. That Friday night we took down his crib and Max helped his daddy put rails on his bright new yellow bed. That is now his favorite place to play! All day he signs bed and points to me and we have to go pla

Cooper Updates

Cooper is now 5 1/2 months old and getting so big and smiley! He learned how to roll all the way over while we were in a Bible study with some friends. We were in the middle of a discussion when all of a sudden Coop Man started to roll across the room! It was really funny. He practiced his new mobility for a while and now has stopped for the time being. I'm sure he is just saving his energy for his newest trick...he has just about learned how to sit up all on his own. This is such a HUGE accomplishment and will help him play with Max a whole lot easier. Up until now, Cooper has only wanted to be with me. When I tried to go run errands or whatnot he cries the whole time he is with Jeff...but not any more. This past weekend Jeff and Cooper did some serious bonding and now Cooper is reaching for his daddy. Such a fun little man!

Matt and Jo got married this past Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009 and it was a GORGEOUS wedding!!! Dad put together a precious video of a few of their priceless pictures from the wedding. Check it out at http://www.stevesphotojournal.com/ They had the best photographers...even though they were from the land down under...hehe. Rob and Steve, you two did an amazing job...but I am still waiting to see pictures of my boys. This pic. is from one of her dressing fittings at the bridal shop...not the wedding.
