Tuesday March 1st.
Today we went back to Shamian Island. We were able to deliver a donation from a wonderful friend to an organization helping orphans in China. We did a little more shopping, which doesn't come naturally to either of us, but we need something to bring back to the ladies. After a snacking lunch we got a taxi back to our hotel. We spent a little time in the room relaxing and then went down to the lobby to say our good byes to the majority of our group that gets to leave for home much earlier than us. Twelve of the fifteen families have three less days than us in country. Afterwords we climbed the hills of the park near our hotel until our legs could handle no more. We were able to meet up with two other families for dinner. Today our restaurant was offering snake. They were actually alive and didn't like it when you got close to the cage. We stuck with the safe items on the menu. Well, we think we ate normal food but you never know. After dinner off to the hotel for an early bed. Getting excited for Saturday!
