Beans and Rice

Cooper and I always enjoy bonding time while Max finishes his nap. It is a special time that I think encourages Cooper to take a shorter nap. Today I got brave and actually let Coop Man play with dry rice and beans in the kitchen. He loved scooping and putting the ingredient into different cups. Yes it may take me a month to sweep up all that is on the floor right now, but I'll tackle that one when they go to bed tonight. He just had so much fun and let's not forget all the educational benefits this game is giving him.

Side note...today at MOPS (Moms of Preschoolers) the speaker said that the most creative homes are the messiest. My kids are going to have such an advantage over those organized clean moms that I've always dreamed of becoming. HEHEH!

We Still Love Eachother

When we were first Married, Jeff's Dad would always ask us if we still love eachother...well we do. This weekend we are celebrating our 6 year anniversery of our first date! I had to show off what Jeff got me because it is so neat. He said it is to help me feed Cooper...but I know he wanted it for himself too. He is very sneaky...hehe. Anyway, I will be enjoying my new Eagle's Nest lounger for a very long time. (If you come to visit us I might let you try it out.)

Day 3: July 28

Today was THE day!  Miley Mengcong Bostrom’s Gotcha day!  We woke up anxiously at 5am and waited until 6:30 before going down to breakfast.  Breakfast was wonderful.  There were all kinds of food we had never had before and some that looked familiar like fruit, sausage, and bacon.   We had to wait until 10:30 until finally getting to meet Miley so we walked around the inside and outside of the hotel.  There is a lap pool that is amazing. We can’t wait to swim in it….maybe tomorrow.  We found a bakery that sells the cutest cakes in the shape of cars or cartoon characters.  We will probably buy one for Miley, because tomorrow is her birthday.  We were mainly trying to waist time… When it was finally time, our guide told one family member come outside and get your new child.  Well that wasn’t going to happen, Jeff and I both went with him….and….we….waited….again!  It was probably one a couple of minutes, but suddenly we saw three people with three babies walking toward th
