Heat, Water, Popsicles, and Bugs
Yesterday it was actually cool enough (and I use that word loosely) to let the kids play outside. Max rode his bike while Cooper pushed the train and pulled a hockey stick around. After that got old, we played in our Caterpillar sprinkler to cool off. When the boys got tired of that Max informed me that it was Popsicle time and we had to eat it under the tree in the front yard. They were so so cute sitting side by side under the tree I had to grad the camera what I did not expect was for the lens to instantly fog up because of the high humidity. It did make for a cute picture that looks like I edited it to look so "story-like". Yes the boys were still dirty from playing while they enjoyed their cool snack, but I think that's what makes them boys.
When Jeff got home from work, he found a HUGE grasshopper and put it in a jar for the kids. Max and Cooper have loved looking at it. Cooper is even trying to say the long word "grasshopper". He sure is surprising us by all of his new words.
We have really enjoyed our family time lately. Jeff has had to work such long hours for so long, but he is on an overtime break and we really cherish it!
