Snow....Burminham...WHAT???

We ran into a friend at a gas station last Thursday night. We told him that we were going to Burminham to visit my sister and brother in-law for the weekend. He told us to be careful because it was supose to snow down there. Later on I asked Jeff if our friend realized that Burmingham is in ALABAMA. It doesn't snow down there and if it does it would only be a touch.

We were wrong! We left Kingston right before the boys nap this past Friday. We were not on the road 20 min when it started to snow and it snowed the whole way down there! It was so beautiful....but I kept so confusing because Knoxville didn't get snow, but AL did.

We had a great trip just enjoying being with each other. I'm just so proud of them. Joanna and Matt have a beautiful apartment and seem to be enjoying life in B-ham.

One highlight was when we went to the mall to walk around and Max begged to go on the carousel. He said "ride" about 3 times a second while we were trying to get him to eat lunch. After we ate Auntie Jo took Max on his first ride. He was really excited until just before the ride started. He burst into tears and cried the whole time. Joanna said that she was able to distract him by telling him that she would buy him a toy when it was over. He then could only talk about cars and trucks until the ride was over. Sweet boy and even sweeter memories.

Cooper on the other hand thoroughly enjoyed watching the carousel go round and round.

(Note their matching shirts..a gift from Auntie Jo and Unkie Matt.)
