Sickness update

Cooper is better!!! He still has a runny nose and a cough, but if that is all we are excited.

We took Max back to the doc. yesterday because Sunday he had broken out in a full body rash. The rash was an allergic reaction from his antibiotic and sense his ear infection has still not cleared up, he was given a 3rd antibiotic. Poor baby. Please pray for him. He is in a good mood during the day which is wonderful, but the nights are tough on his little body. Also please pray for his night terrors. He has been having them off and on for almost a year now, but last night was the worst yet. He was not awake and we could not wake him, but he screamed, cried, and threw his body around. It really scared Jeff and I.

We know that God has this and will heal our little man just like he has Cooper.

The picture I posted showes a very rare moment. Max actually fell asleep in my arms last night. He hasn't done that in a long time.

We just love our little men so much!

Rebecca - I had to think of "baby" Andrew when I read about Max's night terrors. When Andrew was actually a pretty big little boy - he was in school - he had horrible night terrors. The same as you have described them and absolutely terrifying. A nurse friend of mine told us they were caused by a drop in blood sugar and to be sure and have him eat some sort of protein at bedtime and no sweets - evidently the protein (we used cheese) caused the blood sugar not to drop as severely. It worked like a charm with him.
It may have been just a fluke for us but he never had another after we started the cheese at bedtime and would at least be worth a try??? I'll sure be thinking of you-that was a very trying time.
Hope all will be well soon and you'll have a wonderful Christmas! Margo
