Christmas Eve

We were lucky enough to spend the couple of days before and Christmas Eve at Grandad and CC's house. Auntie Jo and Uncky Matt were there too. We had a great time spending time together. I didn't realize that Matt had never really held a baby before and what was the first thing I did...I handed Matt Cooper so I could finish unpacking the car. From then on Matt and Cooper were unseperable! I think Matt is hooked. Too cute!

We celebrated Christmas on Christmas Eve and let it be known that Max now understands what unwrapping gifts is all about. He helped me play "Santa" and just loved taking gifts to everyone, but enjoyed even more helping them tear into them. After the paper was off, he ran over to me and said more. He didn't really care what was inside the wrapping paper unless it was for him. I guess next year we won't be able to put wrapped gifts under the tree before Christmas.

Grandad gave both boys their very own cameras. Cooper's plays all kinds of music and Max's actually takes pictures. Can you tell the Grandad is a photographer?

CC made sure that the boys got something that would explore their creative side by giving them their own set of hand bells. THEY LOVE THEM!!! Jeff and I are not sure how we feel about them yet.

Auntie Jo and Uncky Matt gave the best gift of all...CARS!!!

Christmas is so much more fun now that we have two little guys to share it with.

We Still Love Eachother

When we were first Married, Jeff's Dad would always ask us if we still love eachother...well we do. This weekend we are celebrating our 6 year anniversery of our first date! I had to show off what Jeff got me because it is so neat. He said it is to help me feed Cooper...but I know he wanted it for himself too. He is very sneaky...hehe. Anyway, I will be enjoying my new Eagle's Nest lounger for a very long time. (If you come to visit us I might let you try it out.)

Day 3: July 28

Today was THE day!  Miley Mengcong Bostrom’s Gotcha day!  We woke up anxiously at 5am and waited until 6:30 before going down to breakfast.  Breakfast was wonderful.  There were all kinds of food we had never had before and some that looked familiar like fruit, sausage, and bacon.   We had to wait until 10:30 until finally getting to meet Miley so we walked around the inside and outside of the hotel.  There is a lap pool that is amazing. We can’t wait to swim in it….maybe tomorrow.  We found a bakery that sells the cutest cakes in the shape of cars or cartoon characters.  We will probably buy one for Miley, because tomorrow is her birthday.  We were mainly trying to waist time… When it was finally time, our guide told one family member come outside and get your new child.  Well that wasn’t going to happen, Jeff and I both went with him….and….we….waited….again!  It was probably one a couple of minutes, but sudde...
