So my sister has been bugging me about updating this blog. Sorry Jo...but here is an update.

Two weekends ago...wow that seems like a long time ago...my grandparents (Chastains) and Joanna came over for a visit. Max showed Grandma and his Auntie Jo how to paint pumpkins and gourds. Max was so proud of himself, Auntie Jo laughed the whole time (and got Max very messy), and Grandma was very nervous about the mess being made. HEHEHE! The same day, Jeff and Max went and got us some wood for our wood stove. Max even helped stack to the wood.
Cooper HATES carrots, garden veggies, squash, and sweet potatoes. Basically any veggie that I have given him the kid gives me a funny face! Strangely enough, when he tried his first lemon he gave that funny face, but kept eating it. Crazy boy! Along with all these first foods, he can enjoy them with a view from a high chair now!

Max went potty in the POTTY! I'm sure this was just a crazy fluke, but the other day Max pulled at his pants and wanted his pants off. I asked him if he wanted to sit on the potty and he said "uh-huh" and ran to the bathroom. We played there for a while and when Jeff got home he was able to sit Max on the pot just as he began to "go"! Maybe it will happen again soon!

Cooper is just loving playing with toys now. The fridge magnets are esspecially "cool". He is interacting so much with us now. It may sound weird, but he is becoming more a part of our family with every day. He is just so awesome!

Last week Max said "Ma" for the first time! He was standing in his doorway "protesting" nap time and all at once he said Ma, Ma, Ma. So yes, I did go and get him and give him a huge hug before I laid him back down in his bed. He has been saying "Da" for a while, but only once in a while. Now he knows our names and uses them. My dad use to say "That's my name don't wear it out!", but in this case I want him him to wear it out!
