3 New Accomplishments!
Accomplishment #1
Last night Cooper got his first "real" bath in the tub! He seemed so relaxed in the warm bath water; I know he enjoyed it. Max did not show any interest that his brother was bathing with him. He has a one track mind and it was set on his orange dump truck that he was taking on an underwater adventure. Cooper smiled and cooed while in the tub. I bet he enjoyed that a lot more than the little foam bath mat I had been cleaning him on.
This will definitely be apart of the new bed time routine. After the warm bath and nice cozy p.j.s he actually slept all night and did not wake until 7:30am! We let him take a dip in the tub again tonight and hopefully we will have the same luck tonight and in the morning!
Accomplishment #2
I have been giving Cooper rice cereal a little at a time every once in a while to slowly get him use to it. This morning was the first morning that he actually seemed to be eating it! Perhaps that is why he took a FOUR HOUR nap today instead of his usual 20-30 min cat nap! I tried to give him a little tonight for dinner, but he would have nothing to do with it. He must just be a morning rice guy.
Accomplishment #3
Max is really good about taking a nap as long as we are home. I think he starting going to sleep without a fuss around March and naps and bedtime are so much more relaxing now. So what's so new about nap time? The last three days after our nap time routine (book with his blanket and pillow and a song) I asked him if he was ready to "See the Moon" (which is the name of the song we sing). After hearing this he has picked up his blanket and pillow and walked to his room and actually stood in front of his crib. I picked him up, kissed him, and laid him down. HE NEVER MADE A SOUND- just smiled! Tuesday, when he did this I thought it was a fluke, but he has continued to do it. Wow! We are truly blessed!
The picture of Max is when he woke up after his nap yesterday...or maybe he was fully awake yet.
