Rainin' Frogs

Max gets so excited when I tell him that we can go outside and swim in his pool, but this morning he found a crazy and a bit scary surprise in his water. We found 2 frogs that made our pool their pond for the day. There was one really big ugly one and one little cute baby frog. Max was pretty apprehensive about them and wanted to hold my hand as we walked closer to them; but when I showed him how he can touch them and make them jump, he was very excited. It was really cute to watch him discover those crazy green and warty things in his pool. After we went back inside I uploaded the pictures/videos onto the computer and Max thought it was so funny to watch himself play with the frog. I'm sorry I shot one video sideways, I guess I wasn't thinking. At the beginning of the "sideways" video Max is trying to sign the word "frog". The sign is two fingers flicking under his chin, but he hasn't gotten the flicking motion yet. (Side note: his signing is getting so good. Last night we had a conversation in sign language! He isn't talking yet, but he sure is communicating.) The videos are below, just click the play button.

We Still Love Eachother

When we were first Married, Jeff's Dad would always ask us if we still love eachother...well we do. This weekend we are celebrating our 6 year anniversery of our first date! I had to show off what Jeff got me because it is so neat. He said it is to help me feed Cooper...but I know he wanted it for himself too. He is very sneaky...hehe. Anyway, I will be enjoying my new Eagle's Nest lounger for a very long time. (If you come to visit us I might let you try it out.)

Day 3: July 28

Today was THE day!  Miley Mengcong Bostrom’s Gotcha day!  We woke up anxiously at 5am and waited until 6:30 before going down to breakfast.  Breakfast was wonderful.  There were all kinds of food we had never had before and some that looked familiar like fruit, sausage, and bacon.   We had to wait until 10:30 until finally getting to meet Miley so we walked around the inside and outside of the hotel.  There is a lap pool that is amazing. We can’t wait to swim in it….maybe tomorrow.  We found a bakery that sells the cutest cakes in the shape of cars or cartoon characters.  We will probably buy one for Miley, because tomorrow is her birthday.  We were mainly trying to waist time… When it was finally time, our guide told one family member come outside and get your new child.  Well that wasn’t going to happen, Jeff and I both went with him….and….we….waited….again!  It was probably one a couple of minutes, but sudde...
