Super Cooper's Birthday

Our Sweet, Super Cooper turned the big 3 in April!  I know I sound like a Hallmark Card, but these years are going by way too fast.  I feel like just yesterday I was trying to keep Max from being too rough with his newborn brother and now it's the other way around.  Birthday always call for celebrations and we definitely celebrated this one.  Cooper's birthday was actually on Easter Sunday this year.  What a special day we all had.  We hosted a wonderful Easter/Birthday lunch with all his grandparents and Aunt and Uncle Presely.  It was a day that started with opening the Easter gifts of cars for the boys and dolls for Piper and ended up building a huge train track in the den with birthday gifts.  Cooper was given tons of train track and all 3 kids received one remote control train.  The boys spend hours putting the track in different configurations.  It's better than Legos for them.  It was a just a relaxed day with family and birthday cake.  

Just like Max's big day, we had a family party on his actual birthday and then a big party with all of his friends.  This year his friends joined him at a jump house.  These kids jumped and rolled all over that place.  It was so much fun to watch all these 2, 3, and 4 year olds doing what they do best.  It was definitely the best party for Jeff and I because we were able to leave the mess there and just enjoy the day with our birthday boy.  


 
 


Cooper Stephen Bostrom, you have always had such a sweet happy spirit about you.  I often say you have been hit with the happy stick because nothing ever seems to bother you and I love that.  Your daddy and I love you so very much and are so proud of you.  You have made us laugh so much with your crazy voices and actions.  The way you smile and say, "sawee" makes it hard to discipline you at times and the way you run up to your daddy and I with such a huge grin and yell "mommy, daddy".  We love you little man!  Can't wait to see what you learn and teach us this year.

We Still Love Eachother

When we were first Married, Jeff's Dad would always ask us if we still love eachother...well we do. This weekend we are celebrating our 6 year anniversery of our first date! I had to show off what Jeff got me because it is so neat. He said it is to help me feed Cooper...but I know he wanted it for himself too. He is very sneaky...hehe. Anyway, I will be enjoying my new Eagle's Nest lounger for a very long time. (If you come to visit us I might let you try it out.)

Day 3: July 28

Today was THE day!  Miley Mengcong Bostrom’s Gotcha day!  We woke up anxiously at 5am and waited until 6:30 before going down to breakfast.  Breakfast was wonderful.  There were all kinds of food we had never had before and some that looked familiar like fruit, sausage, and bacon.   We had to wait until 10:30 until finally getting to meet Miley so we walked around the inside and outside of the hotel.  There is a lap pool that is amazing. We can’t wait to swim in it….maybe tomorrow.  We found a bakery that sells the cutest cakes in the shape of cars or cartoon characters.  We will probably buy one for Miley, because tomorrow is her birthday.  We were mainly trying to waist time… When it was finally time, our guide told one family member come outside and get your new child.  Well that wasn’t going to happen, Jeff and I both went with him….and….we….waited….again!  It was probably one a couple of minutes, but suddenly we saw three people with three babies walking toward th
