Fire Balloons

Friday night we went to the hot air balloon festival with my parents. To get the boys excited about the evening events, I showed the boys YouTube videos of hot air balloons before Jeff got home from work. When Jeff got home Max was so excited and told him that he wanted to go see the fire balloons! It is so awesome what these boys pick up and really understand. We had a great time. There were crafters, a kids craft area, fair type food, and of course hot air balloons. The boys got to try kettle corn for the first time which to say they loved was an understatement. We had to buy quite a few bags to get us through the night. The highlight of the event was the balloon glow. They had about 15 balloons lighting up in beat to music. It was so much fun. The kids were so excited. They cheered, clapped, and squealed the whole time. Cooper was asleep before we left the parking lot which doesn't say too much because we were stuck in the same parking spot for about an hour because of traffic. Thank goodness for car DVD players and Cars the movie is all I have to say! We will have to go back next year!

We Still Love Eachother

When we were first Married, Jeff's Dad would always ask us if we still love eachother...well we do. This weekend we are celebrating our 6 year anniversery of our first date! I had to show off what Jeff got me because it is so neat. He said it is to help me feed Cooper...but I know he wanted it for himself too. He is very sneaky...hehe. Anyway, I will be enjoying my new Eagle's Nest lounger for a very long time. (If you come to visit us I might let you try it out.)

Day 3: July 28

Today was THE day!  Miley Mengcong Bostrom’s Gotcha day!  We woke up anxiously at 5am and waited until 6:30 before going down to breakfast.  Breakfast was wonderful.  There were all kinds of food we had never had before and some that looked familiar like fruit, sausage, and bacon.   We had to wait until 10:30 until finally getting to meet Miley so we walked around the inside and outside of the hotel.  There is a lap pool that is amazing. We can’t wait to swim in it….maybe tomorrow.  We found a bakery that sells the cutest cakes in the shape of cars or cartoon characters.  We will probably buy one for Miley, because tomorrow is her birthday.  We were mainly trying to waist time… When it was finally time, our guide told one family member come outside and get your new child.  Well that wasn’t going to happen, Jeff and I both went with him….and….we….waited….again!  It was probably one a couple of minutes, but sudde...
