A Full Weekend Already

It is only Saturday night and we have already had a full weekend. Jeff had Friday off so our weekend started early! Friday morning Jeff and Max gave the dogs a bath. I am pretty sure that Max had the most fun in the bunch. He loved it when those wet beasts shook off and sprayed him. After the dogs were clean Max and Jeff took Mary Anne to the vet for her yearly shots...once again Max thought it was a lot more fun than Mary Anne did. When they got back the two tool men in my life (Max and his Daddy) installed my new bathroom mirror! It looks so beautiful...next is that hideous light fixture. If that was not enough while Max took a long and happy nap, Jeff began to put a roof on our back porch! Wow, Jeff sure has been busy! This morning we went to see the Big Trucks Festival. Max had a lot of fun sitting in all the drivers seats of the fire trucks, police cars, backhoes, etc. He was a bit cautious when it came to walking around the large trucks. He made sure that Jeff or I was very close at all times. Cooper enjoyed a nap, but then did wake up to enjoy the Gator. After the morning fun Jeff actually finished the roof on our back deck! I could not believe that he finished so quickly. It is going to be so wonderful for us and the dogs. (Now when we go away for the weekend we won't worry about the dogs if it rains.) It sure doesn't sound like I did anything..hehe..I helped Jeff while the boys napped, fed Cooper, cleaned, oh you know what a wife and mother does on a project Saturday. It has been so much fun working on projects together. When our work was finished we finished out the day with dinner with Joanna and mom. We had wonderful Greek salads and pizza.

Jeff just told me that if we were ever to buy a brand new house we would still find projects to do. That's just what we do I guess.

We Still Love Eachother

When we were first Married, Jeff's Dad would always ask us if we still love eachother...well we do. This weekend we are celebrating our 6 year anniversery of our first date! I had to show off what Jeff got me because it is so neat. He said it is to help me feed Cooper...but I know he wanted it for himself too. He is very sneaky...hehe. Anyway, I will be enjoying my new Eagle's Nest lounger for a very long time. (If you come to visit us I might let you try it out.)

Day 3: July 28

Today was THE day!  Miley Mengcong Bostrom’s Gotcha day!  We woke up anxiously at 5am and waited until 6:30 before going down to breakfast.  Breakfast was wonderful.  There were all kinds of food we had never had before and some that looked familiar like fruit, sausage, and bacon.   We had to wait until 10:30 until finally getting to meet Miley so we walked around the inside and outside of the hotel.  There is a lap pool that is amazing. We can’t wait to swim in it….maybe tomorrow.  We found a bakery that sells the cutest cakes in the shape of cars or cartoon characters.  We will probably buy one for Miley, because tomorrow is her birthday.  We were mainly trying to waist time… When it was finally time, our guide told one family member come outside and get your new child.  Well that wasn’t going to happen, Jeff and I both went with him….and….we….waited….again!  It was probably one a couple of minutes, but sudde...
