Mother's Day-Saturday Shindig

Family is such a blessing! I know there are moments that I want to pull my hair out or just sit down and cry...along with the boys, but I would have it no other way. Jeff and feel so blessed to have 2 healthy boys, grandparents, great-grands cousins, aunts, and uncles loving us. This mother's day weekend we were blessed to have Jim and Jan come for the weekend. They always help out so much! Jan fixed us the most wonderful meals and Jim helped Jeff put up ceiling fans in both of the boy's rooms among other random projects. Saturday we has a really fun dinner with Jim and Jan and my parents (Steve and Carol). We started off the afternoon with a Mario Cart Marathon...oh yes even my mom and Jan participated! It was really funny trying to show them how to use the Wii remotes! Our dinner was oh so good....pork and fruit and salad and more! But of all the good treats and fun times our entertainment was definitely Max Man. He paraded through the house wearing a bright Hawaiian shirt, bright green shorts, my purple/rhinestone sun glasses, and Jeff's hat. He would not take off the glasses or the hat the entire evening. He was just too proud of his new wardrobe.

It is so much fun being a mom this mother's day! Our boys are just too wonderful!

We Still Love Eachother

When we were first Married, Jeff's Dad would always ask us if we still love eachother...well we do. This weekend we are celebrating our 6 year anniversery of our first date! I had to show off what Jeff got me because it is so neat. He said it is to help me feed Cooper...but I know he wanted it for himself too. He is very sneaky...hehe. Anyway, I will be enjoying my new Eagle's Nest lounger for a very long time. (If you come to visit us I might let you try it out.)

Day 3: July 28

Today was THE day!  Miley Mengcong Bostrom’s Gotcha day!  We woke up anxiously at 5am and waited until 6:30 before going down to breakfast.  Breakfast was wonderful.  There were all kinds of food we had never had before and some that looked familiar like fruit, sausage, and bacon.   We had to wait until 10:30 until finally getting to meet Miley so we walked around the inside and outside of the hotel.  There is a lap pool that is amazing. We can’t wait to swim in it….maybe tomorrow.  We found a bakery that sells the cutest cakes in the shape of cars or cartoon characters.  We will probably buy one for Miley, because tomorrow is her birthday.  We were mainly trying to waist time… When it was finally time, our guide told one family member come outside and get your new child.  Well that wasn’t going to happen, Jeff and I both went with him….and….we….waited….again!  It was probably one a couple of minutes, but sudde...
